Well, we are now offering Choreography programs that will give you exactly that! Every Year Dreamsbellydance Academy will produce a theater show to give the opportunity to ALL of our students to be a part of this awesome show! You will have the opportunity to show your family and friends everything you are learning in our school!!

This Choreography programs are OPEN to ALL students interested in participating. We are offering choreography programs for Beginner’s, Intermediate, and Advanced students! If you are in our level classes, open classes, or not a current student of the Academy you can still be a part of our Theater Show!!

Rehearsals dates will be posted after choreography programs are done and will be scheduled with your instructor! 

PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE NO MAKEUP CLASSES FOR CHOREOGRAPHY PROGRAMS - Choreography Programs are non-refundable and non-transferable - Class cards may not be used as payment and walk-in’s are not permitted- Space is limited and you MUST sign Up ahead of time to participate in this choreography Programs!

Beginner’s Bellydance Oriental Veil Routine  with Giuliana: Join Giuliana a graduated students of Nathalie’s level classes and former pro team member of Dreamsbellydance Academy. This routine is the epidemic of sensual belly dance moves! Experience the classy movements of belly dance with Giuliana’s soft hips movements!! We will take you into the Arabian Dreams! This routine includes a veil entrance, and it is a dramatic interpretation of Oriental Middle Eastern Dance! Veil is available for purchase at the studio!

Nathalie over here :)

I am here to talk to you a little bit about my concerns going on in the dance industry in general. I will share with you my ways, how I did it all, and how do I continue to do it. :)

Everyone has a pssion and I believe that everyone has the power to turn it into a business, but the problem here is that not everyone has the right tools and information to make this happen. Some lack the self confidence to take that step in making their passion a full time job .. yeah you heard me right, you CAN leave of your passion and make money doing what you love!

Anyhow, let me get serious here! I came here when I was 16 years old by myself, barely spoke English, and literally didn’t even had a clue on what I wanted to do with myself and my life… one thing I can tell you is that I was always passionate about dancing and I wanted to be famous :) Not knowing how to, I decided to take a chance and let people take advantage of the fact that I was young and naive. I started dancing in restaurants just for tips urghhhh! :(

Believe me or not, I went through all the things that you can avoid to go through if you follow this steps… I was definitely exploited by working from 7pm till 5am dancing on tables for tips, no brakes , only for water and sometimes orange juice so that I can keep the sugar and energy going. Drunk people harrased me and owners and managers of restaurant treated me not very nicely. But the truth here is that I wasn’t a victim of anything or anyone!! I was doing it all to myself!

Therefore I want to share with you all this information I learned through out the years of my career… the good thing about it is that I am giving it all to you for FREE, just want to help you make the right decisions and the right choices so you can start having your dream job and really pay the bills.

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I am so excited for everything happening in my life right now! It is often said to live in the moment and really appreciate what’s going on in your life, but I think it wasn’t until a few weeks ago that I finally understood what that means… I am blessed each day to wake up to so much beauty around me, but I guess I hardly stopped before to admire and appreciate that.

Well, it has being a hectic, but yet fantastic time in my life. For most of you that know me you guys know that I don’t stop, I am always on the go trying to see what I am going to do NEXT! For me, this is what life is all about, being the BEST  in anything that you do, and living with a purpose!

I am so thankful for the challenges that I encountered in my way while opening a NEW business, I can honestly say that I LEARNED SO MUCH during the opening of my dance studio. However, nothing stopped me to continue with my vision, nothing will stop me now!

I have amazing STUDENTS in my school that are the reason why I keep doing what I do, I have an awesome assistant (Annie) that continues to lean, grow, and believes in me all the way, that girl is my little angel!! And I am just so blessed to have an awesome boyfriend who teaches me everything I need to know about business, who introduces me to ALL the right people, and always has a solution to problems that for me are such a BIG DEAL!

With that said I wanted to share with you that when you stop and breathe, and remind your self that this is the only moment that you have  for sure, you do things with a different purpose and in a much better way!

I just signed the NEW LEASE of the NEW Dreamsbellydance Academy! A NEW DANCE STUDIO, NEW EXPERIENCES, MORE CLASSES, BETTER OPPORTUNITIES, FANTASTIC INSTRUCTORS, AND ALL MY HARD WORK TO BRING YOU THE BEST OF ME!!

The New studio is being remodel , and we are hoping by February of 2012 to be already in our NEW Location, stay tuned to all the details because I am definitely having NEW PROMOTIONS!!

Hello There,

A few days ago I sent an e-mail with information on my NEW BETA TEST PROJECT
the amount of responses were overwhelming! So below is  all the details for YOU…
I created this NEW PROJECT to give YOU the opportunity to learn FAST, and get you dancing and performing Nathalie Style :) in 14-days!! This is what this project consist of…

This is a FUN choreography that I will teach for all levels of belly dance students, this is a MIX LEVEL class that will help EVERY student learn FAST and be able to perform this routine inONLY 14 DAYS!! Amazing no? but there is MORE…

Well, I believe YOU will really benefit from this beta test project, all you really need to do is dedicate for the next 14 days to achieve the results. Therefore, here are all the details on what to do to be a part of my 14-day beta test project! 

Option 1: I need the participants to attend at least 3 of the classes per week offered in this program, for the next 2-weeks. 

Option 2: Participants may attend ALL 4-classes offered in this program for the next 2-weeks.

This beta test project will start Sunday November 27th at 1:30pm 

For the next 14-days I will test all participants on this days:

Tuesdays 5:00pm
Fridays 7:45pm
Saturdays 2:30pm
Sundays 1:30pm

Remember this program ONLY LAST 14-days! So you need to commit to at least 3 classes per week for the next 2-weeks starting Sunday November 27th.

The last class will be Saturday December 10th and I will have all participants perform the routine learned at our Christmas Celebration that evening! This will help me test out my New project and I know that it will definitely HELP YOU LEARN HOW TO DANCE FASTER!! :)

Hello There,

For the last few weeks I being listening to a lot of my costumers, and just like YOU they wish they can learn how to DANCE FASTER. So here is what I did…
For the last few weeks I being putting together all of my ideas to see how I can HELP YOU learn how to dance faster. And then, something happened… I realized that if I make some SIMPLE adjustments and change some of the technique I use to teach, I could actually increase how FAST you learn. But there is a problem, even though I have this in paper, and even though I have been teaching for 13 years, I need to test this out on REAL STUDENTS. Here is where YOU come in!

I am putting together a beta test group to see if this will work…

I hope you are having an awesome week so far, this past Saturday I had the  training team try-outs and beside the storm, the girls that showed up to try out, did FANTASTIC! :)

Therefore I am doing a 2nd audition to make sure all the people that couldn’t make it on Saturday have the chance to try out this time. There was a lot of misconceptions in regards of the training team try-outs, and I want to clarify this so everyone is on the same page.

  • Training team classes are PAID classes
  • Training team practices are FREE 
  • Practices will only be set up  2 times per week after regular work hours or weekends.  
  • Training Team Classes & Practices won’t be starting until January of 2012
  • Students Trying out MUST have the ability to dance to quick foot work combinations.
  • Training Team students selected will have to purchase costumes for team performances.
  • Students Selected will have the opportunity to lear, and perform challenging routines under the direction of Nathalie for different occasions. Paid gigs will also be offered for all training team members in the case of group dance performances.

2nd Auditions will be held on Tuesday November 1st at 7:00pm

Anyone interested in trying out for the dance training team needs to attend the tryouts.
The director & coach (Nathalie) will teach a mini-routine in 3 different tempos of belly dance music. Dancers must memorize the routine and perform it as a group and individually for final evaluation process.

The candidates will be evaluated on the following:
1-Attitude, commitment, and enthusiasm demonstrated during tryouts
2-Appearance
3-Technique
4-Group work
5-Individual work
6-Veil work

How Important Is Appearance?

Appearance will be considered at all times during the tryouts. You should wear what makes you the most comfortable.It is very important you remember you’re trying out for a high profile position representing the Dreamsbellydance Academy team.
Ladies: You will need to look like you are ready to perform, no costumes necessary, however make-up and hair down is a must.

Please Note: Remember that participation as a Dreamsbellydance training team member is voluntary and is done so with the understanding that there are certain requirements and expectations that are necessary in order to maintain a high-quality performance team.  Failure to comply with any guidelines that are established can result in the director making a decision to either temporarily suspend an individual or to permanently dismiss the individual from the team.  If you fail to satisfy any obligations or must be replaced due to injury, you must discuss this in private with the director. In case of scholarship given you must relinquish your scholarship.
